Recently, a new client from the transportation industry contracted DS Brown to create a flameproof neoprene rubber compound that would meet our customers unique compound specifications. In order to meet our customers requests, we first researched all product requirements, and then sourced all necessary ingredients and related suppliers, to develop a recipe/mix cycle that would achieve the exact rubber substance needed.
Contacting several rubber testing facilities at which our company regularly does business, we found a company that had the proper equipment to conduct necessary compound analyses. DS Brown managed this project from initial development through lab batch creation, testing, and full scale mixing stages. In addition, we provided our client with any production samples and physical property or material test reports that were generated throughout this process. |
DS Brown formed a neoprene-based rubber compound, in both continuous and sheet form, which met all of our clients unique product requirements and specifications, including fire resistance/flame proofing. We delivered the material within only 1 week after project receipt.
