D.S. Brown was recently contracted by a client from the mining industry to produce a large number of bulb stabilizers from medium density silicone sponge. By combining our advanced water jet cutting technology with our top-notch molding capabilities, we were able to successfully manufacture bulbs that met our client's particular product requirements.

Employing our advanced water jet, which met a tight, precision tolerance of 0.010 of an inch, we cut the bulbs to measure precisely 1.93 by 1.92 inches in length and width, with a material thickness of .25 of an inch and a weight of 2.8 grams. We also ensured that each bulb stabilizer possessed a smooth finish.

Dedicated to meeting our client's high expectations for manufacturing precision components, we now produce 1,200 bulb stabilizers per release for the mining industry. By keeping these parts in inventory, we are able to provide this client with same-day delivery, packaging up to 100 bulbs per bag and shipping the products directly to our customer's facility on the East Coast.
